Q: Is the Electrical Technician program offered online?

No. The Electrical Technician Diploma is delivered exclusively on-ground at the Rockford, IL campus, with all coursework conducted in person. Because you’ll spend the bulk of your training wiring panels, bending conduit, and troubleshooting live circuits under instructor supervision, a fully online format would not provide the hands-on practice or safety oversight needed to master industry standards.

Q: Do I need prior experience with electrical systems to enroll?

No. The program is designed for beginners. We start with core trade skills and foundational electrical safety and theory, so you can jump in even if you’ve never wired a circuit before.

Q: What kind of career services support will I receive after graduation?

Career Services helps with resume writing, interview prep, and support with getting connected with local employers.
