Graduate Highlight - Mike Johnson - HVAC
Last month, we shared Kadijah Townsel's story. She worked 88 hours each week while attending school, and many of our other students work hard as well. Take Michael Johnson, recent heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration graduate, who worked 65 hours a week during his career program.
Balancing work and school proved challenging for Mr. Johnson, but being able to count on others made an enormous difference. He found instructor Mrs. Bruce to be especially encouraging. “Mrs. Bruce always has a positive, helpful attitude,” says Mr. Johnson. He was always able to count on her for assistance and recommends that potential students do the same. “Never be afraid to ask for help,” he advises. He graduated from the HVAC/R program excited to see all his hard work pay off.
