Graduate Highlight - Justin Ferro

Graduate Justin Ferro is just one of many former students who reached his dreams despite his uncertainties.

At first, Mr. Ferro was not even sure about which career field interested him.  “I knew I wanted to work with my hands, but I also wanted to work in a challenging field where I would use knowledge gained and troubleshooting skills,” he recalls. After much consideration, he realized he could fulfill this dream as an electrical technician.

During our ten-month program, he studied topics such as Conduit Bending and Lighting, Branch and Feeder Calculations, Electrical AC/DC Theory and Test Equipment, and Motor Operations to prepare for his future career. Mr. Ferro soon found that a little bit of persistence and determination were what he needed all along. He graduated from our Diploma in Electrical Technican program in May of 2019. “If you have a goal, stick with it,” says Mr. Ferro. “Don't give up or settle.”
