Companion Animal Specialty and Emergency Hospital is a 24 hour emergency hospital with specialty departments in Integrative Medicine, Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Dermatology in Crystal Lake Illinois. We strive to provide the highest level of medicine along with client service and patient care.

Continuing Education and giving back to our profession is very important to us. Each year we welcome Veterinary Assistant, Veterinary Technician, and Pre Vet students to shadow and complete externships with us. We currently have several Rockford Career College students and graduates working in our Emergency Department, Internal Medicine Department, and Surgery Department. The dedication, drive, and passion of these graduates and students has been exceptional. We hope to continue to be that Veterinary Hospital that students can gain valuable hands-on work experience to help prepare them for a career in the field of Veterinary Medicine.
