Transfer of Credit to Other Colleges

Since the primary reason for a student’s education at RCC is to obtain the skills and knowledge necessary for specific careers, most Rockford Career College courses have not been designed with transferability of credit in mind. Other institutions may accept some courses, but such decisions are entirely at the discretion of the receiving institution. In the absence of an articulation agreement between Rockford Career College and another institution, no one at RCC can represent that specific credits will transfer anywhere. Generally institutions accredited by the same accrediting agency are more likely to accept transfer credits from each other in the same or equivalent courses. The following is a list of the institutions with whom Rockford Career College has articulation agreements:

  • Cardinal Stritch University
  • Columbia College of Missouri
  • Concordia University (Wisconsin)
  • Judson University
  • Kaplan University
  • National American University
  • University of Phoenix
