Accreditation is a process that signifies systematic evaluation and application of educational standards or criteria. The accreditation process requires continuous efforts toward improvement of Rockford Career College (RCC) and its programs. This process ensures and formally recognizes the quality or the programs offered at RCC. The college actively participates in both institutional and programmatic accreditation. The process of achieving and maintaining institutional accreditation keeps a school's focus continually on the entire spectrum of elements that define educational quality. Programmatic accreditation covers specific programs within an educational institution and ensures that the training provided meets the standards for the individual to perform within the profession.

Rockford Career College is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools, (ACICS) to award certificates, diplomas and Associate of Applied Science degrees. In addition, the Rockford Career College A.A.S.
