10 Dogs Who Really Need To Attend The 10th Annual Charity Dog Wash This Saturday

This Saturday, Rockford Career College’s Veterinary Technician department will be offering some serious spa treatment to dogs in the Rockford area. The dirtier your dog, the better!

The 10th Annual Lou Bachrodt Auto Mall/First Northern Credit Union Charity Dog Wash will take place at Lou Bachrodt Auto Mall at 7070 Cherryvale N. Blvd. in Rockford, IL this Saturday (June 7) between 12PM and 4PM.

Here’s the cost:

  • $15  Small dog (15 lbs. & under)
  • $17  Medium dog (16-40 lbs)
  • $20  Large dog (41 lbs & above)
  • $5    nail trim

All proceeds will benefit Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary, PAWS Humane Society, and Rockford Career College’s Vet Tech and Dog Grooming programs.

In addition, we’ll be hosting a donation drive for Kibble Korner Pet Food Pantry. Dog food, cat food and litter will be accepted.

It’s a huge area event you don’t want to miss. Last year, over 50 pet vendors, rescue organizations and small businesses came, and attendees came for the raffles, food, and spa treatment for their dogs. This year, we’ll be posting photos of clean and happy dogs to our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts, so make sure you hit the links and throw us a follow so you don’t miss out!

Simply put, it’s awesome, and on a Saturday afternoon in Rockford, what the heck else are you going to do?

Also, there’s a chance to volunteer. Email junedogwash@gmail.com if you want to lend a helping hand.

We hope to see you there. Until then, here’s 10 dirty dogs who need to make their way to Lou Bachrodt Auto Mall this Saturday to get a bath from our fabulous Vet Tech department!
